I'm a bit bewildered that we'd pay a transfer fee for Andy Lynch and sign him to a three year contract and make him captain, only to swap him for a youngster at Cas?

Have you not been following Hull for long? The transfer policies of your club have always bewildered me so this signing doesn't surprise me.

I rate Powell asa coach and agree that he is capable of getting your team organised so they wont be a push over but that team wil struggle to make an impression against the top teams with well organised defences.



To me it looks like a squad that will be aiming to finish 8th to 10th targeting the likes of Bradford, Wakey, London and Widnes to make sure they are in the top tier the following year.

I think Daryl Powell is your saving grace. That playing roster is a sad indicement of the state of Superleague. The centres are poor, the halves are poor, the pack is paper thin.



Don't want to have a dig at Cas, I love my trips to Wheldon Road, but that team certainly aint Classy Cas. The only player who'd get into a top team is Clark (although I appreciate a couple of the youngsters may turn out well - I like Milner). At a push you could make a claim for Lynch when fit, but he's way past his best, and maybe Carney, the rest are real average (at best) squad fillers....

I'm surprised Seymour has a work permit with his recent conviction.

I wouldn't say our Centres are poor. A massive "If" but If Webster stays fit. I'd not swap the Webster - Carney wing/Centre partnership for any other in the league.
