| Surely this must exclude the 'Benidorm flats' hospitality stand? If not then surely there is an argument to have it re-assessed because that could be completely segregated from the rest of Belle Vue.
Also, I doubt there will be any cash turnstiles for the first few games, as how will they be able to accurately ensure they are below the 5333 figure? Will tickets be given to away fans if Wakefield can sell out the stadium with home fans? Based on their average attendance that is certainly a likelihood. What could be outcome if Wakefield fans can get on the back of the referee and earn a penalty or two to win a few games that were in the balance? Could a partisan Belle Vue keep them out of the bottom two? Certainly food for thought for the Wakefield public.
Obviously the loss of potential earnings is an absolute killer, especially with their current position and the good work their Chairman has been doing in order to balance the books.
Hopefully it can be rectified quickly.

| Wakey season tickets were only £100 for the past couple of seasons, hence their average attendances being around 8K. However, they've doubled in price and are over £200 this season which will no doubt see the hugely discounted supporters brigade quitting the club in droves, just like they did at Bradford and Huddersfield.
5,333 capacity will be more than adequate.

Think there's a percentage of available tickets specified in operational rules that have to be made available to oppsition club.

Really? I think the Bradford and Saints game (Wakey's opening games) will be pushing capacity. They've sold 2k ST.

| WTW need to get the capacity up to about 8k for the Tigers game over easter. Games prior to that won't be affected IMO.
I'm interested to know what exactly needs the repair work. The main article seems a bit vague. If it's the terracing - how much damage has been caused in the space of 5 months ? Was the new roof just a temporary measure ? Are the sanctions anything to do with the ill-fated Widnes game and lack of security ? Crush barriers could be the problem ?

| Strange one as nothing 'unsafe' really springs to mind when I think of Belle Vue, where as Odsal is slowly crumbling. I guess that's why I'm not a health and safety inspector!

The crumbling at Odsal is iconic.

| Leigh's 'Hilton Park' had a reduced capacity 'for a while' due to a lack of crash barriers, but in reality NO crash barriers would have ever been needed, even when we played Wigan, Saints. Guess safety folk have to be careful, but this kinda stuff, is just ammunition for people who like to take the **** out of a certain club, rather than caring if they can sort their problem out or not.
And secondly, Wakey fan Wildthing is a BIG supporter of my Leigh club, so I for one, hope they get things sorted out.

According to Michael Carter it is something to do with the footings on all the barriers
"@WTWChairman 20:11 30/01/2014 it's something along the lines of strengthening the areas the barriers are fixed to. It's not the barriers themselves per se"
