| Pretty poor from England, got some pretty dodgy calls otherwise they would be behind.

| Quote: Dally "For all the Sinfield knockers that's why he'd in the team.
Watkins, Chase and Tomkins are looking very weak so far in this one.'"
One bit of good play after 40 minutes does not "justify" anything. You think NZ and OZ will look at that performance and be fearing anything. Defensively England look OK, but attacking, they are so bad. They look disorganised, Chase is all over the place. Massive improvement needed.
Lets not forget, Fiji are also missing their best player very good game though but expecting a different England side second half.

has he had sex with your wife? he made a mistake get over it, he has put a few players in space this game and hasn't dropped a high ball yet which is usually your big moan.
sinfield is the strongest in the halves and rangi chase seriously isn't up to it, he isn't a bad player just not good enough at this level.
Rob borrow if he can't defend in the position he is playing why is he playing it? first big man who ran at him went past him.
Also Briscoe is having a worse game than Charnley did against Australia.
next game.
1.tomkins
6.widdop
7.sinfield
9.Roby and McIlorum interchanging

| Fiji are without Akuila Uate and Sisa Waqa.
Who are England without? Gareth Widdop and ....Danny Brough maybe?
Oh hang on....why did that happen?

| Forwards aren't creating enough go forward.
When space has been created to go wide the timing and execution is off one some of the passes.

He did drop a high ball in a previous match - as I had predicted in advance. His issue seems to be fear under pressure when people are bearing down on him. As to a "mistake" if England had any chance in this tournament (which they haven't) a single mistake would be enough to lose the final. If the England goalkeeper in fottball makes a "mistake" it's not acceptable. It shouldn't be for an England RL full back to make such a stupid mistake. Your attitude explains why we are a bunch of losers.

Cudjoe and Watkins being underused. Give them the ball in space

| England remind me of saints in the early half of this season. They are doing the basic attack ok with strong drives, and their defence in the middle is solid. But when in the opposition 30 they look incapable if manufacturing scoring opportunities, as opposed to simply hoping their opponents' make a mistake. In addition, their defence out wide us suspect.
The reasons are the same : half-backs who are not providing direction, and poor coaching which focuses on a 1990s emphasis on doing 6 drives and a kick in the hope that territory is an end in itself, rather than a means to an end.
England's pack are probably going to be strong enough to win this game, although the sympathetic refereeing has helped. But against Australia or New Zealand, we need to be able to create scoring opportunities, not just hope that they turn up if we hang around the opponents line long enough.

just admit it you personally don't like him so you cant view him in an unbiased way. he caught a highball the first kick of the game under a lot of pressure.

| Well a massive improvement in the 2nd half.
I don't think Roby needs to worry about his number 9 shirt, but once again I'm still unsure about Chase. Some nice touches by Sinfield. Any questions I had about him, he has answered in the first 3 games. He has been a consistently good performer in every half of every game from England.

| Has to be said that chase in particular has had a rocket put up him. Much better play in the halves.
