| I was moderating on another international league forum during the last world cup, and we very quickly had to take a zero tolerance policy on union trolls during the world cup, because nothing threatens them more than us being successful at what they consider to be 'their thing' - just saying.

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

It's a strange one with GF, he must have some passion for RL or it's been the biggest waste of anyone's life trolling on the internet. But he is going a step (or five) further on the RLWC.

We can't stop there. This must be seen as the beginning. We have to carry on building up international competition in the game.

| Quote: Saddened! "Round 1 was sensational. The games were all competitive and there was a real buzz. The organisers had been quite clever with the fixtures and it set the tournament up nicely.
Round 2 is just a complete and utter embarrassment on the field so far. It pulls away the façade and there is very little left to be positive about. The big sides are up to speed and the minnows' enthusiasm wanes.'"
The highest score line margin up to the France V NZ game was 18 - games you describe as "sensational".
The highest score line margin from France v NZ onwards is 48 - games you describe as a "complete and utter embarrassment". I have a number of queries:
1. At what exact score line margin does a game change from "sensational" to " a complete and utter embarrassment"?
2. Why that particular score line margin?
3. Does this just apply to RL?
4. If not - I'll then be able to see which category this weekends 54 - 6 Japan V NZ RU game falls into.
And if you would be so kind as to provide the score line cut off point for football, I'll also be able to check which category Norwich v Man City falls into.
5. If this does only apply to RL - why?

So let me get this right, you believe if Ireland had some Irish born players in the team that got mullerd by Australia it wouldn't kill the game over there, but as they don't a big score against them will? Ffs you talk some bollox!

Oh Saddened. I thought you were better than that!
I'm disappointed in you.

| Saddened is a shocking old troll. Get thee back to the saints board and moan about wellens, lad.
As for those who genuine worry about mismatches : if you genuinely approach any sport's World Cup as an equal competition, then you're mental. If you approach it as a festival of sport in which only a few can win, but many can demonstrate their endeavour, then there's nothing better. I'm loving the smaller games between the exotic sides. I don't give a that they get mullahs by the big 3. And nor does anyone sensible.

| Watched the US of A beat Wales earlier and just watching Scotland v Italy on telly. So engrossed. This tournament has really shocked me. I thought it would be blah blah blah up to the semi finals (Eng v NZ) (Aus v a Pacific Is team). But no, i'm rushing home from work, downing the kitchen tools and i'm glued to the set. Whatever your opinions of team make ups, grandparent rules and all that bollax - one thing is for certain - if you love Rugby League you'll surely love what's happened so far??? I'd almost forgotten about my double header Wembley SF tickets on the mantelpiece.
Put the politics and club wranglings with the RFL to one side and just watch this fantastic tournament unfold.

| ................ and now I've just seen an outstanding try by Scotland, started by Brough and finished by Helliwell. As fine a try as you'd ever want to see. Brilliant.

| If anyone is critical of any of the games so far in this world cup then please go and watch another sport.
This is RUGBY LEAGUE.
This game is far too advanced for you.
This is the game where TRIES are scored.
