australians playing in super league are exiles because they are NEVER going to get selected for origin or the kangaroos while playing here*....likewise kiwis playing here don't get selected for the anzac test anymore...so they are "exiles" too
* yes i know alfie langer got selected for QLD one year while playing for warrington..but thats because QLD had a massive injury crisis.

I still don't mind it though. I really like the England shirt as well (and the red alternative one). Would be good if they did a package deal to get both (or all three).

For me the England shirts don't immediately strike you as archetypal Rugby league ones.
And they are a mess. You wouldn't look at either of them in 10 years time and say 'Wow yes that was a great RL shirt'
The exiles one looks far more like an RL one should.

Totally agree. The Exiles has a very classic RL design, while the England shirt looks like something you'd find in a SportsDirect.com bargain bin. They don't look like they belong on the same field together. |
