I picked Sheffield as I am bored of Elland Road. And couldnt think of another suitable stadium of around the same size in the North. That will open its door for RL in november.
I also picked leigh or Warrington as about 14,000 or slight less will be about right for a England v Wales match.
I would love to pick the bigger grounds as we did in the 80's & 90's but for some reason no bugger wants to turn up. Yet we get 60,000 fans a week in Super League.

| Eng/NZ has been pretty much confirmed to be at the KC.
There should be a game in Wigan, as the KC and DW are the two best Sl stadiums, and as such should host a game each.
Wales should get 2 'home' games, probably both again Aus/NZ, and I can see one being played in Wrexham and the other near Cardiff or somewhere down in South Wales.

| Well, I think the DW and Hull being best in SL are debatable, for me, the best games have been at Headingley, HJ, Yes DW, but also Huddersfields, Wales Australia, the best game (without a doubt) of Rugby League I've ever seen, was there, Wales England 1995 was there. NZ/Eng was there in the Tri Nations.

| Millenium stadium is far too big the Cardiff city ground is 26,828 close the second tier and market it well and wales v england could get a decent crowd.

| if you want to get a decent crowd for the games Wales v NZ/Australia and the Anzac game, then play them in London.
I would say The Stoop for the Wales game(s) and a stadium that holds 20,000+ for the Anzacs.....Loftus Road springs to mind but people whine about the lack of leg-room........
If you play the Wales v Anzacs games in Wales you will get a sub 8,000 gate....if you play them at the Stoop you will get close to 15,000 for each and 20,000 at Loftus Road for the game they play each other. I know the Crims and Kiwis can be a bit tight, but $45 for 3 games of RL would be a pretty good offer in the Smoke.
So.....50,000 over 3 games pretty much bolted on....or.......potentially 10,000 added to a double header gate in Cardiff and 16,000 over 2 games played in Wrexham
At £15 a ticket....how would you think the RFL would spend the £360k they would make whilst ticking the Sport England box on expansion into a NATIONAL sport
Englands 2 games v the Anzacs, 1 in Yorkshire (Hudds/25k), 1 in Lancashire (Wigan/25k), England v Wales in a 20,000 capacity statium in or near Wales should all come very close to selling out.......
I fully expect a load of "it's a bugger to get to"..."there's nowhere to park' type posts, but let's face it, if the RFL want this to be a profitable tournament they need to sell over 75% of the tickets and a double header would kill any chance of that straight away.
As for the final....why not play it in Birmingham. If, as some on here think it will be another ANZAC game, then at least make it easier to get to for the majority of fans of each team whilst ensuring the M62 Mafia can get home easily too

| Quote: Red Red Robin "Wales v England - Wrexham'"
15,500? Surely Widnes v Crusaders could get near that on a SL weekend.......England v Wales should get more than that.......shouldn't it? Anyway...why give up "home" advantage to the cottage burners...play it in Hull
Me Likey! 25,000 capacity......short hop on the tube from town or a very good pub crawl (cracking ale houses on route) from Hammersmith or Earls Court and even the Bazzas of this world, who can't be bothered to go to the stoop to see some footie will be tempted to go.
If the RFL are clever, they will sell the naming rights of this game to someone like TNT or VB. Yes, it will probably be the gillette 4 nations, but to create the TNT trophy, to be played between the 2 nations when in the UK would be a stroke of marketing genius.......TNT Magazine, read by 50,000+ ANZACS! The match would sell out pretty quickly and TNT would pay to advertise it! I can see Qantas/Air New Zealand being interested as well.........or even that bloke Leary who owns Ruinair.....he makes a fair few quid out of the transients whilst they are in the UK......
As I mentioned before....3 game ticket packs sold to the Anzacs at 45 quid each, Each play Wales at the stoop (both sold out at 15,000 and there you have 55,000 bums on seats at 15 notes each and still have 3 more games to be played in the heartlands.
Welsh fans can get to Twickenham straight down the M4........and as the competition is being played in ENGLAND, the cottage burners have no grounds for moaning about having to travel

Like the start...week 1 good.
Week 2 - England v Australia bigger venue, probably Manchester.
Week 3 - Wales v Australia - elsewhere in Wales; Swansea has a great record for internationals
Final - bigger venue (OT or Wembley)
