It seems that your total and unquestionable loyalty to your club prevents you from understanding the basis behind a guilty plea and acceptance that wrong was done and therefore, punishment accepted.

Your theory would only hold true if every person that ever admitted they were guilty of something was actually guilty, and not saying it for the purposes of avoiding certain punishment (whether that be due or undue).
