| Brave - certainly, wise - possibly, fair - probably not, but 'best' always wins that battle.
In the short-term it makes sense, get them through to the end of the year and then...?
Are SLE really going to underwrite losses at a rival club? I'm not sure I can imagine that would have got unanimous support.
Overall a good a move in that it brings stability to the situation, but it begs some pretty massive questions and sets one hell of a precedent. I don't know whether to applaud or be appalled. In for a penny, in for a pound I guess.
What league would we expect them to be in, in 2013? I can't make my mind up which'd be the odder prospect.

| A total big mistake. There is a rule stating that you can't own more than 1 SL club but in this instance that will have to be wavered unless they start life in CC or CC1. If Bulls stay in SL it would virtually mean that they would never lose their license as a successful Bulls would line the pockets of SL and its member clubs.
Bradford are NOT too big to fail. SL would carry on. Why people feel the opposite I don't know. Maybe because they've won a few trophies. Does this also mean that any other club in a financial mess can be saved by SL? By doing this they are setting a precedent. So to all clubs struggling with finances, don't worry, SL will help you out.

An utterly ridiculous one that is typical of this sport. Where were the bids for Wakey, Oldham, Widnes, Rochdale. Leigh, Gateshead etc etc? They were prepared to let those clubs die so they should have done the same for Bradford.

So when Guilfoyle submits it to the RFL are they going to turn it down?

I kind of agree, but it was looking that they were going to have to fund them through to the end of the year anyway. Sorting it mid-season has been a nightmare. This will allow a more orderly transition - but to what?

Makes our sport a laughing stock. How can they pick and choose what clubs to save or to allow to fail, will others be granted the same favours now. All the clubs in debt should call in the receiver and see what the RFL does.

| There needs to be more detail on how this will work asap. Is it just until the end of the season then they sell it on? Who is paying their liabilities and how does this work will HMRC? What happens if a club bids for a Bradford player? Will every club get the same treatment from now on? Etc, etc...

Should have just let them go bust and void all results from games they've played this year, simple really.
Instead they've made Bradford bigger than the sport.

All those clubs were allowed to die!
I could have sworn I had seen their names in the league tables. I even went to games where those teams were playing...or did i dream it?
