Why was Waterhouse sent off? All he did was tackle Price when he was belting the crap out of the NSW player.. Because he got hurt has nothing to do with it.

I guess they're thinking it was Waterhouse that caused the damage to Price. Hard to tell, didn't see clearly what finally took him out.

Hope he's ok, though I think it was his knee in the head of White(?) as he stood up from the tackle that started the whole thing, though to be fair I think they were looking for an excuse by that point.

For me the QLD only got seriously injured when the other NSW not waterhouse tackled him to the floor. Waterhouse for me did nothing wrong, both men were fighting i think the impact of the QLD players head caused him to be knocked out

The last punch on Price's chin knocked him out. He was already out by the time Waterhouse touched him

Players joining into that situation escalate it, they always get sent when the game is sliding from the Refs control.

Got to agree with Gus' sentiments, let's play Game IV. That was easily the match of the series. Yes, there was PLENTY of ball handling errors, but the intensity more than made up for that, and in a lot of cases, was actually the reason for so many errors.

Very satisfying to see the smiles of my fellow New South Welshmen. They didn't keel over and let QLD whitewash them as I had feared. There's plenty of life yet, and we'll be back next year.

Those last few minutes were indeed farcical. Nobody needed to be sent off or binned, at all. Let them go, it's Origin. I just typed out my thoughts on what happened, but deleted them. There's no point in any discussion there.

Hopefully NSW have learnt their lesson this year. Origin is mental as much as it is physical. Just think of how many QLD tries this series came directly from our mistakes? Their first tonight was another. We can beat them.
