Losing Casty was unfortunate and if Ferriol and Baile are banned they will take a true hammering from NZ and Aus, which is unfortunate. Their kicking game was superb and Ferriol, Elima and Bentley were superb.
I thought the referee was incredibly harsh on France. He didn't let a thing go for them, yet he was willing to give England the benefit of the doubt several times.
For England I thought Roby, Peacock, Morley and Ellis were the standouts. I don't see why we need Roby from the bench, play him from the start, he can do the 80 minutes and England were a better team with him on the field. I thought Myler was the better of the half backs, not quite proving the doubters wrong but certainly more involved than McGuire. The backs were totally anonymous as expected but didn't let anyone down defensively.'"
I thought Graham and Burgess were the stand outs. Burgess, especially in the first half, was very good. Graham just didn't stop taking the ball up. I would have probably given Burgess MOM, but Graham wasn't far behind. |

We were always going to ourperform them in the second half and the in-game betting was England -4 so thanks very much for getting my money back from last week.
We are not good enough to have seperate national teams although I understand the reasoning behind it. However, the Aussies will put over 40 past us next week.
Basically it was Catalan against a composite SL side which included too many poor players. Aus and NZ will decimate us, this is a building phase for 2013, nothing else.
