I think if Widnes lose brown, they will definitely be flirting with the middle 8s. He has been the difference for them the past few years and without him they don't seem to have someone who can unlock defenses.

With the squad you have, Wakefield have a very good chance of making the top 8 and maybe even higher, but why act in incredulous when people suggest that you might be in the bottom 4? Given the last 3 or 4 seasons, on average that is the most common place where you end up. Hence people putting you there. Don't take it personally, or at least get some salt for that chip.

They could well do, don't think most would deny that but they also see a scenario that they won't. The incredulous response and the whole "maybe someday the rest of the league will give us credit" is cringeworthy. |

Wakefield's fans obsession with Watkins is cringeworthy. Love to rip him as a player even though he's won every domestic honour in the English game yet cry foul that supporters of other clubs don't give their club credit for finishing 8th one season. It'd be funny if it wasn't so tragic. |
