Nobody enjoys a draw.

The money us spectators are made to fork out, we deserve a bit of excitement and drama.

The Wigan fans had a much more enjoyable trip home from Hull on Thursday night than the dull feeling of what they would have had with a draw. Money well spent.

Not a fan of golden point in regular league games and just don't see what the problem was awarding 1pt to each team if the scores were tied after 80mins and calling it a draw.

I don't believe it adds anything to game in general either in the grand scheme of things, just another gimmick decision at the time.

I dunno. The weekends games on Sky, although terrible quality, were entertaining. A lad I work with likened the Saints v Leeds game as 'Strangely compelling, like watching two seals play catch with a dildo'.

If that's not worth an increased TV deal, I don't know what is.

Golden point is great if you win and it sucks if you lose. End of.
It always seems harsh to lose in "golden time" but, it's really not a big problem.

After an intense 80 mins, a draw means a draw, so it should be 1pt each. If you want a golden point, then play for an extra point after that.

After being robbed of a point through this earlier in the season I’m glad Wakey have been able to square that up tonight but it should be a point each iMo.

Dump Golden Point. Make each game worth 6 points. 2 points to the team that “wins” the first half (1 each if it’s a draw), 2 points to the team that “wins” the second half (1 each if it’s a draw) and 2 points to the team that wins the game (1 each if it’s a draw). Encourages teams that are behind at half time to try to win the second half (if not the game) to gain 2 points. Discourages teams that are well ahead from easing off.

I'm a big admirer of the Golden point. Nothing worse in sport than a draw.

Players shouldn't bust a gut for 80 mintues for no reward if they lose in golden point. Im all for 1 point each and the winner of golden point gets 2. The biggest issue is the drop goalathon. I think it looks a bit naff, whats wrong with next try winner?

Golden points are for knockout games, it isn’t fit for purpose in a league game.
