Didn't watch the game tonight but surprised it was one sided. Saints are the best team in the comp and it will take something special from Salford or Wigan to deny them in the GF.

Any Wigan fans brave enough to come on here after tonight's game want to comment on their pack? That was exactly how the other games have gone this season, but I was being told all week we'd make no metres against their pack and that it was a completely different side to the previous three games. Why on earth was French on the bench for so long (I'm a poet) when Tommy L was dragging himself round the pitch? Play Tommy L at 9 instead of Powell and play French with Williams. Start the game with your senior props and ask them to do a job. Smithies and Partington, whilst fantastic prospects, don't seem up to first team rugby yet. They're in the 'play them at home in games you should win' bracket and shouldn't be rolling them out each week at their age. Smithies made no metres and although he makes a lot of tackles and impresses stats wise, he was being marched backwards for most of those tonight. Or could one of them replace O'Loughlin at 13? Thompson running at him at Old Trafford would give Lam nightmares.

But Wigan will still win at OT. It's just the way things go for Saints.
