I’m not sure anyone in their right mind would argue that Sandow is better than Barba.

| Wigan supporters are quickly becoming like idiot Liverpool fans in football.
You can't name a quality player without this lot piping up naming one of their own as better.
Oh and 'Gazwire' continues to be a total crackpot. Sandow lol. How many times did he win the Dally M in the NRL? He's that good he can't even get a club thesedays.

| For the Super League era only (1996-2018) the choice of the best import is between the top 14:
Benjamin Barba (St. Helens)
James Lyon (St. Helens)
Matthew Gidley (St. Helens)
Leslie Vainikolo (Bradford)
Henry Paul (Wigan)
Robert Paul (Bradford)
Trent Barrett (Wigan)
Steven Menzies (Bradford, Catalans)
Stacey Jones (Catalans)
Scott Dureau (Catalans)
Christopher Sandow (Warrington)
David Solomona (Wakefield, Bradford, Warrington)
Richard Swain (Hull FC)
Albert Kelly (Hull FC)
The list shows the refined judiciousness of St. Helens recruitment of overseas players, and the same for Catalans up until the departure of Trent Robinson as coach.

| Jamie Lyon is the best ive seen but Barba will be pushing him close the form he is in.
At my own club Richard Swain was absolutely immense and lifted Hull out of the doldrums to a CC win and Grand Final.

Because he asked Cronulla to release him and he wasn’t a very good union player?

Are you really idiotic enough to think that Cronulla actually released him and that saying he wasn’t very good at a completely different sport somehow makes him not as good?

First half is fair but near enough the whole of the second half is a joke.

| Quote Lebron James="Lebron James"Sandow lol. That’s a belter even for you Gazwire.
Leeds have had some fantastic imports over the years who have all excelled in much tougher super leagues. Whilst Barba is class, just look at the standard of super league this year.
Regards
King James'"
I was saying that I prefer Sandow to Barba and not saying that Sandow was in line for best import.
My nomination would be for one of the Paul brothers.
Also, well worked out that I'm not at the game Einstein.

| Quote AS108="AS108"Is this a joke? What a laughable suggestion, Barba is 10 times the player hence why Sandow isn’t even at an NRL club. Sandow also went missing in the CC final and GF. Hasn’t Barba won player of the month for the first 3 months?'"
Eh? “Went missing...”? He went missing in the CC final because he came off injured after an 80m break and he was injured until his sub appearance in the GF.

Can’t backtrack now, you said that you’d have Sandow over Barba every time and that Sandow ‘has the complete skill set at the highest level’ and is a ‘more mercurial player’. You called Sandow better which is completely idiotic.

I'm not backtracking at all. I would have Sandow over Barba every time.
