| Quote Towns88="Towns88"Vastman, where the hell have you been ? You finally paid your internet bill ?
I exaggerated baba I'll take that.. but Chris Chester said on radio Leeds after the game (well played on a good and important win) that Tom Johnstone had been dropped and he'd been judged on the tries he's conceded not so much scored but he will come back in contention against Salford. I rate TJ and firmly believe he will get international honours very soon, but his defence needs to improve in my opinion ( and your coaches it seems).
Plus if Chris Chester had told me his team beforehand I certainly wouldn't trust him
'"
Tell you something if Chester drops players on poor defence Grix should be the next one.

| Quote Willzay="Willzay"3 things suprised me today
1 - The cursed second half blip which has cost us the past 5 games was again looking to maybe cost us another two points, if it weren't for the steely defence. In particular Reece Lyne.
2. We managed to actually recover from a Scott Grix cock up.
3. The graciousness of Saints fans I met at BV today.'"
No 3 really surprises me. In 2005 Saints were expected to sweep the board and when we came up against them in the CC semi final we weren't given a hope in hell's chance of reaching the final. That day we played the best 80 minutes of rugby I have ever seen a side in B&W play, and we blew a fabulous Saints side apart. On the way back to the cars and coaches, the Saints fans lined the streets and applauded the Hull fans, shaking our hands, hugging us and wishing us all the very best for the final. It was a sight that really brought a lump to our throats and whilst we always seems to get along with Saints fans anyway, that total act of graciousness really cemented the friendship between the 2 clubs long before Precky did.

Yes I remember that well, we got totally thrashed by a very convincing Hull side. Quite a few saints fans formed two lines for the Hull fans to walk through, some Hull fans most have first thoughts of trouble but that soon dissapeared as the Hull fans were clapped to there coaches and cars.
There has been a lot of mutual respect between the two clubs for a very long time now.

| Fair few saints fans were applauding cas fans after the semi last year, from their coaches on Wheldon road, very gracious considering they had the game all but won and outscored us 5 tries to 3, decent calibre of fans.

| Don't get the Hampshire one. At all. The guy didn't put a foot wrong against Hull or Leeds.

Agreed, Hampshire has been doing pretty well in the halves so much so more I could see him becoming more prominent in that role as Finn winds down. Johnstone tweaked his knee against Leeds so I thought he had been rested, he didn't really have a bad game against Leeds, maybe just the Watkins try he could've dealt with better.

| Journalista has its agenda (selling paper with made up shock horror stories in it)
Cas fans have their agenda (5h1t stirring)
PP hasn't been on his game, TJ isn't up to speed through injury and Rocky is playing ok but its horses for courses, non of them are poor enough to make a credible story or cheer Cas fans up, but you already know that.
Only the players and coaching staff know why they didn't get a game this week.

You daft dopey sod. It was on the radio.
Plus I want wakefield to do well. I wanted wakefield to win all their games they lost (apart from Cas obviously). I only made reference to TJ , no clue about Hampshire, but finn is your first choice 7 so it speaks for itself why he was brought back.
Winning 7/9 will keep me relatively cheered.

I'm almost sure he was the top prop for making most metres and runner up prop for the most tackles in Sundays game. So I don't think he would have gone un noticed, maybe the shock of the well deserved win clouded Lukes existence.

136 metres and yet again the best prop on the pitch. 11 games in and in 9 of those he’s made over 100 metres which is phenomenal for a 22 year old. Also made the most metres out of every forward in SL. Massively underrated player and right now the best prop in the league, it’s a shame he doesn’t get the credit he deserves and if he carries on playing like this, he should be in the England squad.
