| What a game. What a game!
So much moaning on this forum about this or that. But what a game. When the stings a in the crowd started singing as they took the lead, the hair on the back of my neck stood up.
What a game!
How about we just put the moaning on hold and enjoy what is a true festival of rugby league?

| Not that it wouldn't have been physical anyway but PNG and then (if we win) Tonga to follow will be one heck of a challenge on the England players bodies.
As good a game as this morning was and as good a team as Tonga clearly are, we have a great opportunity to make the final. If we do though, I just hope there's some energy left!!

| This was a great game, a classic game. Undoubtedly the second greatest game of rugby league I have ever seen.
David Fusitua, take a bow! Tuimoala Lolohea take a bow!
Anyone who missed it is disqualified from calling themselves a rugby league fan..

Don't get too cocky!!, if the French beat us by a cricket score tomorrow England will be on a earlier flight home than planned.
Can't see it happening though.

By which time we'd seen a league table immediately prior to Samoa-Scotland showing Tonga had won and then heard countless references to the result throughout the commentary...and if you missed it on the commentary for the Australia-Lebanon game.
This game was as good as anything I've ever seen in four decades watching this sport despite knowing who'd won beforehand. But Premier Sports' incompetence spoiled what what was always going to be the best day of the tournament thus far.
The players rarely fail us - check out Simon Mannering's dignified reaction - and if only we had administrators as good....
Today restored my faith in the greatest game. As someone said 'just when you get a deflated by the game...you get a spectacle like this'
Thank you Tonga and particular thanks to the awesome Jason Taumalolo whose decision to represent Tonga gave them the required self-belief and brought the fans out in tens of thousands. What an atmosphere and what a wonderful day for the game !

| The most impressive players for Tonga are Hingano and Lolohea.
A few months ago I watched them lead the Warriors reserve grade side to a very good win in a finals game against the Knights and thought they were firstgraders of the future, and a short time later they are outplaying the Warriors firstgrade halfback in an international of the highest level.
These two kids stepping up to this level is the real difference.
Most of the PI teams have great forwards and backs - it's the spine where they can't compete with the top 3 usually.

| England would have a serious battle against either side. The speed and ferociousness was amazing. The best of RL in one fantastic game.
