A bit like the useless hooker from HKR struggling in the NRL Green machine team

| There are a few players who have had very good seasons when they've played but possibly not had enough matches to be included. In no particular order I'd choose from:
FB - Shaul, Dorn, Gigot
W - Solomona, Manfredi, Johnston
C - Fonoua, Gelling, Percival,
SO - Brown, Williams, Gidley
SH - Sneyd, Gale, Sandow (all options for SO too if it's picked as halves)
P - S Taylor, D Taylor, Hill, Watts
H - Houghton, Clarke
SR - Currie, Bateman, Minichello, Stewart
LF - Ellis, Westerman

Whilst I totally agree with your selections, that "dream team" is the worst I can think of for a long time. Depsite hull fc and Warrington wolfs fans telling us that the standard of super league is as high as it has always Been, that dream team would lose by about 300 points to an Aussie dream team and about 60 points to a png dream team

How many games has dorn played? Seems to have been injured a lot but is a quality player who I've rated since he first came over here

| Hasn't the Dream Team been picked from mainly homegrown players over the last few years, including the French in that?
Taylor has had an excellent season, as have Ellis and Houghton for Hull. Saints aren't the same attacking threat without Percival which shows he is doing something right, Bateman has carried Wigan's to victory on his own in a few games. They would be my five.
As for my team, Widnes, I'm struggling. A lot of our 'big' players have missed quite a few games, Hanbury is a constant threat with the ball but he's no Paul Wellens when it comes to defending, Lloyd White is steady and can influence a game when he moves to LF when Heremaia comes on.
I would plump for Matt Whitley as an outside chance for young player of the year. He's played plenty of minutes, runs good lines and tackles above his stature. Hopefully we keep hold of him for years to come.
