Second top goal kicker behind Sneyd
Has kicked 8 less goals than Sneyd but created 14 more tries.
Currently leading Goldthorpe medal table and has played without a proper half back partner for most of year.

I think there are the only two possibilities from Cas. Luke Dorn has gone well too - 10 tries and 16 try assists despite missing at least 10 games.

I think Sandow is the most talented player I have seen this year, but Houghton has been very good too.

Way too soon to be talking about MOS. Houghton should be a shoe in if his and Hull's performances continue as they have been but there could still be a player who lifts his team to a GF win who will rightfully be seen as the best player in the comp.

He's got nice hair & waves his arms around impressively.

Also, materialistically Bateman can only be nominated for the M.O.G. award.

Bit to erratic still, but certainly one of the most improved players.

I hate to do this as a Hull supporter, but Ellis this year has been outstanding. The MOS isn't just about how hard a player hits or how many games they play, this award carries the name of a warrior and a selfless character. Gareth's leadership and professionalism this year has been exemplary.

I'd go Houghton, possibly Ellis but he's missed a few games.

Other than that really struggling to pick people who've stood out this year. Manfredi maybe, Gidley?
