My heart sinks every time I see his name as ref at Leeds game or any of the televised games I am watching. I have no issue last night re the result he wasn't to blame he was bad both ways. I personally don't like games he refs because he ruins them as a spectacle

None of us like Childs as our ref , he's rubbish , for everybody , but for McDermott to ' cryptically ' suggest Leeds are ' being treated differently is complete garbage , concentrate on your job , and stop blaming others

He was cryptic in an attempt to keep his money in his pocket rather than red halls. And he isn't exacally on his own criticising officials. I imaging most have done it in interviews

Who knows?again not the first and won't be the last to do this sort of thing I seem to remember SW of Wigan doing this sort of thing to influence refs and I'm sure he isn't on his own either.

It happens doesn't particularly bother me. Arguably greatest premiership manager in Ferguson had it down to a fine art. In competition people always will and always have looked to get every possible advantage they can

I don't think he meant differently in terms of a weekly basis, more just last night. Don't think it's an effort to influence refs in general for future games, but perhaps an effort to make sure we don't get Child again anytime soon because we constantly get frustrated when he refs us.

50 odd minutes, maybe around 55, Wigan conceded a silly penalty defending their own line. 'Is that 9-8 Joe?' says Hicks. WTF? Anyone know what the penalty count was at the time?
