as has been alluded to he played poorly in the leeds and Wigan games. he gifted leeds the last try (cost me £35 too as i had leeds to win by 11-20!) he was bossed all game by clubb and co at the DW and i cant even remember which of your forwards did turn up for the WCC.... so yeah, he is having an awesome season. not played badly at all, ever, nuh uh.

Hill has been solid all season and last season (i thought him or JP should of got it last year) will redoubtably build on it and then be offered silly money in NRL.

Recent history (the last 10 years) suggests that a forward will struggle to win it. Only James Graham has in that time, the rest of time it's been FB's, HB's, hookers and Pat Richards from the wing.

ive long been an advocate of 2 awards. 1 to reward hard yards and 1 to reward creative play.

Even then though I think they'd be arguments over which of those two winners was the best player throughout the year, so still a main award would be wanted.
