I wouldn't quite go this far, he looked very good against the top teams earlier in the year.
However, I didn't expect Clark to win it based on performances in big games at the back end of the year. He didn't really do anything in the cup final, the Catalans game that could have won Cas the league or either of the play-off games. |

Clark has the ability to completely change games - it's incredibly unfair to criticise him for a few odd matches. Cas wouldn't have achieved what they did this year without him.

Ridiculous. Widnes team of the year is the biggest scandal. Who voted for that? If it's the RFL, they need to leave NOW. After the televised cup farce, that club should have been facing sanctions not getting awards.
Clarke getting MOS as well as young player? Has he been that good? Has he been better than James Roby? Is he better than James Roby. Of course he's not and of course he hasn't been. Again, which idiots decided that one? Player vote for shortlist, then journalists get involved? Committee? How does this rubbish work?

The MoS shortlist was arrived at via a vote by the players.
However, the selection from that shortlist is by a panel consisting of two ex-players and two media stooges. |

Not quite, the top 3 or 4 players with the most votes are shortlisted, and the winner is selected by a committee (of secret people, who meet in a secret place at a secret time). |

Leeds players never win it. Cas players have won it 3 times in super league era Leeds only once. What's that all about. Clarke is a poor choice as stated Roby has been far better. And peacock and hill head and shoulders above him. |
