The attack on the players coach was as they arrived before the game, outside the Wren pub.

When Wakefield played at Widnes earlier this season an elderly Wakey fan was verbally abused by a group of youths. On walking back to our transport we had foul and abusive language hurled in our direction. Its the one away game I really hatezattending. A few idiots givung the club a bad name.

Plenty of them with Widnes shirts on causing bother elsewhere around the stadium.

Oh don't get me wrong these are widnes fans but they probably aren't regulars. The usual 'Its a semi on the tele shall we go and have a laugh' brigade.
