They really need to fans to show up first home game didn't they have like 7k there? And last night they may have gotten half of that, ino it was on a Thursday but it did kick off at 8 so plenty of time to get there. And if they slip towards the bottom the fans will most likely not show up so he may think why bother.

Salford were very poor last night, I think the squad is top heavy. 10 players of quality, 5 who will do a job and rest are garbage.

In a way, I'd have worried more for them had last night's game been a sell-out because to draw a crowd that size would have meant probably half would have turned up expecting an earth-shattering performance.
