| 3pm kick off would have added a few more thousand to todays gate
if it'd been played on the outskirts of Hull we'd have taken more than 6000 as well

Huddersfield sold over 2,000 last year before walk ups, so I'm not sure where you plucked that statistic from. And Hull took a fair amount more than Warrington this year.

| It would have been 10,622 but thankfully Hull fans don't need a drummer.

| Make it a double header.
If they big teams (Leeds, Hulls, Saints, Wigan, Wire etc...) made the semi's, charge £15-20 a ticket, give each side a stand each, and watch the place sell.
The RFL won't do it though, too much common sense!
They did it for the Wembley internations 2 years ago, and 40k made it down, 20k could make it to Huddersfield or Wigan! The games would be watched too, because its the team youre playing in the final to be decided!
It's basic. £26 for a game on the box, when you potentially have an expensive trip to Wembley is too much, but if you get a double header its worth it at £20!

| If the fans think £26 is to much, we as a game are sunk .

Most teams have to travel but the average is 6k. So why did these two only manage 5k? It's pathetic that you could place the sole blame on Wigan who took 6k and make excuses for Warrington and Hull taking less.

| 10,621 for a Challenge Cup "Qualifying Final" match. Be interesting to see what the split between the two teams was.

To watch my own team i'd pay, the issue is, i didn't care about either side yesterday, but would have gone if it was a more reasonable price, as i prefer to watch games live. Im sure lots more feel the same.

Hull appeared to have marginally more fans there, perhaps just under 6000. Personally I think the kick off time affected the gate. 6 pm on a Sunday is hardly the optimum time slot .

| You know what I couldn't care less if it didn't look good on TV to people watching the game for the first time. The atmosphere yesterday sounded like it was a sell out at times and it is a day I will always remember.
Give me 10,000 diehards over 25,000 bandwagoners any day of the week.
Its about time in Rugby League we started to concentrate on doing things on the pitch rather then worry about what is going on off it. The atmosphere at Wembley will be nowhere near that of say a League game between Hull and Wigan because of the neutrals or bandwagoners that both clubs will bring.

Completely agree! best atmosphere for the Hull game for ages, and largely because we left the apathetic and/or miserable fans at home!
