| Hull v London would be ideal for me, Hull for obvious reasons and London might help them drum up a bit of support, would get the neutrals behind them and is an easily winnable game for us.

your win rate v London since 1981 is 52%.........you opened your "new" stadium with a game v London....that was one of the 48%, last game between us was also one of the 48%..........easily winnable?

| I don't want to see any 'unfancied' teams there.
Huddersfield vs Wigan or Warrington would be ideal for me, provided Hudds don't capitulate as they have done on previous Wembley visits. Wigan - Warrington would be good too.

Exactly, so I don't really care who is there* as long as it's a good match.

I dont think he meant it as you have interpreted it - i think he meant that it is a winnable game, a 52% win record suggest so, whereas playing Wigan for example, we wouldnt expect a win

He was far from meaning that. also I believe our first competitive match at our new stadium was against Fax. We won with 11 men.
But yes our record against London in all its various forms is not great. Thankfully though games are not won in the history books.
Naturally for me I want Hull in the final. Ideally against Wigan so we can avenge 85. As someone who was there in 83 I would not back us to win there against anyone.

Rubbish again from you again Rufus.
You seem to forget that Catalans vs St Helens CC final in 2007 was the second largest CC crowd ever assembled at the new Wembley, 84,241. This was more than Wigan and Leeds and Warrington and Leeds got in 2011 and 2012.
London vs Leeds in 1999 was also a huge crowd --- given the constraints of the crumbling old Wembley --- of 73,242. (less than 3,000 short of the crowd at the 1996 final between St Helens and Bradford).
Most people who attend Wembley CC finals are neutrals. Most of these people are also not haters of expansion clubs, thus totally unlike Rufus, the resentful roofer of East Hull.

Like to know where your stats come from, I they appear unusual to say the least. Certainly when you consider the last game between Hull and London resulted in a 48-12 win for Hull, hardly one of your 48%.

47 Games between the teams since 1981.....you've won 52% of them........if I am one game out, then 54% of them....hardly unusual???

Lies, Damn lies and statistics. Depends on how far back you want to go.
Since the turn of the decade, Hull have won 7 and drawn 1 of the 9 games with London. Thats a 78% hit rate on relatively recent encounters.
All largely irrelevant unless they get drawn against each other though.
