| Quote RLBandit="RLBandit"Koukash will get the cap rules changed, just watch. Not by himself, but he'll get enough people on side to make it happen '" Can you name seven other club owners/CEOs who will ally with him to vote it through? Possibly Leneghan and Moran. Then...? Perhaps you'd get other clubs with aspiring owners like Bradford or Wakefield but a majority of the clubs is a push, no matter how what you think of Koukash's persuasive abilities.

Ian Lenagan, Simon Moran, Eamon McManus, Gary Hetherington, David Hughes, Adam Pearson, Bradford owners!
That makes 7.

| Bradford might have a few stipulations before we vote. Like, our share of the Sky money for a start!

| For some reason the Twittersphere is going nuts for Bobby Goulding. Seems to be more that people are fond of him than for any actual genuine reason. And the fact Bobby is retweeting every positive comment he receives.
Yes, nice bloke and a cracking player but never the man to rebuild a SL side and take them to the top in a million years.

| As Brad Pitt would say.....'inevitable'
As soon as he was putting bids in for some of SL's best players like Tomkins and Morley (even if the chances were slim) then it was obvious he would be looking for a top coach too.
Would I be right in thinking that their isn't a limit (unlike a squad) to how much salary you can pay a coach? This could see him succeed were he failed in player recruiment (so far).
What would look foolish though would be if he now fails to land a coach who is a clear level or two at least above Veivers.

Yep, and I think what will eventually get put to the vote won't be just a simple "raise the cap" but something that other clubs can live with too. If a few clubs at the bottom don't like it, I'm afraid that the external pressures we face, particularly from the wealth of the RFU and NRL, mean its time to cut them loose to play at a level commensurate with their finances, unless they find their own Koukash - we've held the top clubs back for a long time now. If you don't have a plan to catch up and join the wealthier clubs, we can't wait forever.
