| Buying back the lease is fine but wouldn't guaranteeing their super league status damage the intergrity of the competition?

| Quote mat="mat"No it doesnt. RFL have already clarified that final decision is theirs and they can overrule any vote by the clubs.'"
Would it be wise for them to do that though?
They'd be peeing off over half of the super league clubs.

I thought that, correct me if im wrong.
So, by guaranteeing one clubs super league status while every other clubs can be revoked at any time gives them an unfair advantage.
We all want bradford to survive as a super league club, but this can't be at the expense of the competition integrity.
The rfl are gutless though, I expect them to bow to the consortiums demands.

they cant.
because this would be unfair and wrong.
you sit back and watch them.
will the RFL put their desire to keep the bulls in SL infront of keeping integrity to the comp?!
i recon they will.

My ceefax says that the bid was "passed [uto[/u" the RFL on Tuesday, not passed "by".
Quite a significant difference.

| I would be surprised in the RFL accepted the ABC offer IN ITS PRESENT FORM, as the RFL cant guarantee the Bulls Super League future. A last minute deal will be struck, but the final terms agreed by both parties wont be public knowledge for a while.

Your right wildshot that is what it now says. However, unless my eyes deceived me (again), when the article was first shown yesterday it said "passed by" the RFL

Yet another error by the BBC on reporting then. Fairly typical of journalists covering our sport. Whether it be the BBC, Sky or some national rag there are often silly errors which a proof reader could rectify prior to publishing. I wonder if the same journalists have an input on the national flags displayed at the Olympics?

| We all know how bad the BBC are at reporting anything Rugby League so why are we so surprised they messed up the "passed to/ passed by".
As for the continuance of Bradford in SL, its in the hands of the RFL board. They will not neded to "overule" a club vote as the clubs will not vote in the first place. The RFL have gauged the reaction of other clubs so that they can decide how much support there will be for whatever they announce. IMHO stuff all this about Bradford history in the game etc......if they cant put together a bid which is a valid application NOW then it should be bye-bye Bradford.
