yep 2500 poor but all cup games have been down on the usual league game attendances
5pm kick off/london brocos 0 fans/ and on sky with the man u/city saga going on at 5pm too all enough to put the so called supporters off
still...it wasnt that many years ago giants were getting 2500 for this super league fixture!

At the end of the day it was a terrible turn out for a good team in a big game.
If they'd switched it to London, they might have got a bigger gate 
People talk about expansion teams bringing nothing to the table, but some of the founder members need to take a look at themselves. |

Good team, big away attendances, cheap season tickets, good ground. Just poor home support. |

Leigh got over 5,000. Fev got over 4,000 in the last round. Catalans got 11,000. Huddersfield get 2,500 for a CC quarter final against another SL team with a team full of internationals and chasing a league and cup double. Huddersfield is still a Football town. They will probably get ocer 15,000 for their third tier playoff game this next week.
Huddersfield Giants have a long way to go to claim the allegiance of sports fans in their town.
