Our attendances held up remarkably well considering we had such an indifferent regular season, i'd expect a modest rise from 15,000 (2011), up to 15,500 to 16,000 for the coming campaign. I'd expect increases at St Helens, Hull, Hull kr, Huddersfield(cheap ticket scheme) and obviously Widnes in superleague. I'd expect a drop at Bradford and possibly a slight decrease at Wigan and Castleford. How's your team going to fare and how many could you realistically be getting?'"
I'd agree with most of that, however I think Rovers avg. might go down this season with the building works. Hopefully they will break the magic 10k in the 2013 season though. |

we've sold almost 6,000 season tickets so far, and I'd expect to end up with 10,000. So yes a 15K average is not unrealistic if we have a good season. A return to Sunday rugby should also increase away crowds a bit. |

I would be happy for us to average 7,000 on our first season back, the big games (Saints, Wire, Wigan) if were doing okay should hit the 9,000 mark.

So am I. The finest McDonalds in the North West without doubt. I must have been about 10 times last season and everytime the quarter pounder was just perfect and fresh off the rack. The fries were also perfect. |

They are expecting 12,000 to turn up? Have they said this publicly? One would assume that if they have they have based it on season ticket sales so far?
It would be fantastic for SL if Salford were capable of 10k crowds.
This is why a draft pick is essential in SL, so that the viscious circle created by the big clubs having all the junior talent is stopped. |

Why put a negative spin on good news? It's just a cheap shot for no reason.
No matter what the amount before was, 300%+ is outstanding work by a new board.
The new stadium is very much in the public environment now so there is no need to accuse anyone of lieing. The evidence is there to be seen. Everybody will know whether we move forward at each stage....so why not try and find out rather than just "you thought".
And the optimism is real and a direct response to a new board, who have bought a pretty good team, and impressed supporters with their improved management of the club. |
