| Quote Starbug="Starbug"And my point is you are probably wrong
And even if you are right , what do you suggest should happen ?
Feeder clubs ?'"
Why am I wrong?
The U20's are often coached the same tactics and methods of their SL team so the games are often faster than the Championships.
If Wigan U20's can be picked for Widnes when on duel-reg, surely that shows that they must be at a similar standard.
I don't think feeder clubs should be made from the Championships side - if we want to grow as a sport we need strong divisions at all levels.
Maybe an affiliation between clubs would be good though like is done in football. Wigan could loan players to Leigh and Wigan could have some benefits in regards to signing players. Benefits both parties.

| Quote jonny the leyther="jonny the leyther"Disagree with you on this one mate. I reckon if you stuck an U20s Wigan team in C1, the cream would rise (one or two players) Get promoted to the 1st team and then the rest would get mullered.
Also, no one would watch it and then the Championships clubs fate would truly be sealed.'"
Clubs like Wigan and Warrington only get a few close games a season in the 20's league. At least playing in C1 they would get a bit of competition.
If Sam Powell and Logan Tomkins can get playing for Championship teams in duel-reg, I'm sure Wigan could succeed in Championship 1.

I stated my opinion , just as you dud yours
We have the duel reg system , that is all we need
As for your club loaning players to Leigh , that is highly unlikely , the toss pot you have for an assistant coach will take care of that , so no thanks we'll stick with Wire and Saints thanks

What would be the point? why would Wigan want the hassle and costs associated with running another club?
Why not just build a relationship with 2 or 3 lower league teams, send youth players out there on loan and link up with coaches and other non-playing staff.

Like the current dual reg system?
Let's put it this way. Not one person here, no one, would honestly be happy for their own club to be a feeder club. Especially when the natural club to become a feeder team to would be your closest team (and therefore almost certainly fiercest rivals). People happy to introduce feeder teams are never supporters from clubs likely to become one under the system.
