That's interesting
I don't get a chance to see many England or Super League training sessions, which part of England's training methods are you referring to? You don't have to go into great detail, just tell us all what you think the key points are in England's training methods being a big weakness

| Quote: The Clan "Australia will slip to third in this competition with NZ and England playing in the final.
The shock of missing out will signal the end of Lockyers Test career and will also see the careers of TLL, Boyd and a host of others strangled at Birth.
Ultimately Australia's damaged psych will recover on the back of ready made excuses such as missing players, poor officiating and so on.
They'll also claim much of the credit for Englands international resurgence by pointing to Ellis, Widdop, Burgess and Morley while also citing Tony and Brian Smiths influence on Steve McNamara.
We'll still get dead headed ausie trolls coming on here to tell us about our 30+ years of hurt blah blah blah'"
TBH I would love to see an English team win a 4 Nations or the World Cup it would no doubt mean the start of the resurgence of international rugby league. Good thing's will come from this, Test Rugby League will take it's rightful place at the top of the heap in Australia as opposed to SoO.

When Tony Smith prepared for the 2008 World Cup he said he left no stone unturned and traveled to Oz a couple of time to check out the venues and looked at all of the latest techniques.
His big call was the homework and preparation.
He sounded like a Coach bullting as he drew his salary no different than Macca.
What happened to the so called inquest of that shambolic tour?
The failure this year will have the same old same old in 2013 we will be ready with new players etc.
England can not produce at competitive team in the competition they develop players in, its that simple.

Thats rubbish mate and you know it.
If Australia lost to England they would go up two gears.
They cruise against England, they take the Kiwis serious.

So, you don't know anything about the training methods then?
I wonder if Barry will provide more insight, I hate to think you guys are just making things up as you go along

I'm sure the English cricket team felt the same ...................NOT.
I was cheering when we got knocked off by the Kiwi's (mind you I see it as a transition period of international rugby league dominance unlike other Aussie's). To prove my point 60 years ago ENgland /Great Britain were the dominate team and then Australia and now we 're seeing the Kiwi's winning the silverware.
England are in the contest up until the 65th minute it's then that we blow them off the paddock, get that sorted and then look out!
Improve the match fitness the benefit's will come.

You asking me what England's training methods are?
Not good enough I would suggest
Are you offering a job to supervise the training?
If the English training methods were up to "World standards" they would not have been tore a new Bum hole last year in the final.
What was the score again over 80 minutes?
Pathetic is the conclusion.

You are English, an Aussie would not say that.
What happened in the first game where Australian blew England off the Park and went back to second gear?

| The toughest game by far that Australia had last year was the first game against New Zealand.
The whole myth about the English Pack would have evaporated in that game.
It was one of the most physical contests in the last several years.
Unlike when England played NZ and it was pretty well rubbish all round.

Born in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia and live in Qld
It's part of an Aussie make up to barrack for the under dog and at the moment England and New Zealand (mind you it makes it easier to go for them when my grand mother is a kiwi) are the underdog's

Why are you coming to the conclusion that England's training methods are not good enough though?
If Usain Bolt and another athlete used the same training methods and facilities, there is every chance that Bolt would still be the quicker athlete
To suggest that because England lost a game that everything about their coaching and preparation is not good enough is just lazy, you still haven't stated what is specifically wrong with the English training methods - there is nothing wrong with admitting that you don't know something
Maybe Barry will know more as he was the one who originally stated that the English training methods were not good enough

Englands training methods are shocking.
You have a physical performance director who didn't have a clue when he did a similar role in the NRL.
The so called elite training manager doesnt get on with him, nor with 2 other trainers. One thinks it should be all weights weights weights, the other thinks its all about yoga.
The so called national coach hasn't got the cojones to stand up and stamp his mark on the side or over rule the 'elite training manager'
Even the bloke who is supposedly the teams nutritionalist has got about as much idea about sports nutrition as I have about putting new brake discs on a VW Golf.
England RL as a 'team' are a shambles.. from the ground roots upwards
