If Leeds are true Champions (or the like) they'll bounce back.

Fantastic result great for the Crusaders and perversly great for the game as it shows on their day anyone can beat anyone.

It is impossible to compare the so called ' quality ' of games with the constant changing of the rules and the interpretation of rules we have

As for the Crusaders beating Leeds , well , it's not unusual for a team full of Aussies to win on English soil is it , they are basically Gateshead Thunders mark 2 , and could quite easily go the same way as the original

funny how you dont level the same accusations at Hull KR who are £3m in debt and have produced 1 first team player, and are looking to employ their 10th overseas player next year, despite having a dispensation for their first 3 years and this being their 5th year in SL

or Wakefield who have sold their ground, owed hundreds of thousands to the tax man, and have 10 overseas players in their squad despite this being their 11th year in SL

this is despite these two clubs having two of the most fertile amateur areas on their doorstep.

It seems strange, but totally in your character to expect higher standards of a developing expansion club than you do of heartland clubs

so...he made a mistake with the number of years you've been in SL......was he correct with the rest of his post? Have HKR a bucket load of overseas players, or is that incorrect?
Pedants are only pedants when they can't find a proper response to a question.......and if you really want to be a pedant, the poster pointed out that HKR were looking to get a 10th Overseas player in 2011...which would technically be their 5th SL season........
So.......are you prepared to reply to the statement that HKR may well have 10 overseas players in their 5th SL season next year or would you rather pick up another, unrelated, inaccuracy?

He quoted it as if a fact, it was wrong, probably like most of the rest of the post.
HKR this year are not too different to majority of Sl clubs in regards to number of overseas players
the dispensation thing was a HDM story, there has been no official comment on it from club or RFL, till there is I will take it with a pinch of salt like all things HDM! and at the end of the day it will be the RFL's decision

anyway back to the post, well done Crusaders good to see you doing well on the field.

correct....but it was an error in the timeline/use of english........not a mathmatical error
..if so, how many overseas players to HKR have then? Easy to tar the whole post with the same brush you allude to above.......exactly how many non-english players are on the HKR books and in comparison, how many other ESL clubs have more?

.....agreed...although Quins nearly nilled leeds last year on their own patch........and come october it was business as usual for both clubs....one group of players on holiday, the others handing Saints their butts AGAIN. Well done Crusaders....I doubt you will make the 8, but you are by no means the worst team in SL....a great improvement on last year
