I am an Aussie and a west tigers supporter and Ellis has been our best player all season.
He didnt get dominated in the parra game and was in fact one of the best one the field.
In respect to what happend at the end of the game, what else should of Ellis had done? Played tag and let Hayne run away for a try cause Ellis didnt complete the tackle.
He played until the final whistle....it had nothing to do about being a sore loser.
Get over yourselves and show some respect cause atm you are a bringing the good name of being Australian right down.

Well he cant be any good because I read all the major Rugby League publications and Ive never heard of him!

Basically some of the Aussies on here cant accept the fact that an English player has gone well in the NRL so they have to write a load of old b@llocks to try and convince themselves otherwise, anyone who knows anything about RL knows that Ellis is a decent player and has done well in his first season down under.

If he's getting dominated why is he getting pick and playing 80 minutes each week?

I liken Gareth Ellis' year to that of Bronson Harrison's, minus the offloads. They've both been a model of consistency for their teams, playing 80 minutes every game. Barely a poor game between them, and will both rightfully represent their countries at season's end.

ellis hits a hell of a lot harder in defence than harrison.

sometimes you post things that make sense, then there is this dribble. either you really, really, really hate poms, or you have no f*cking clue about rugby league.
