| Quote Bilko="Bilko"I've already said I think they'll have 60+ put of them. I've long moaned about the poor standard of the game in this country and it shows internationally. In my view they've dragged clubs down to the level of the teams that were at the bottom of the league regularly 5 years ago rather than brought those teams up to the standard of those at the top.
But we shall see, I may be surprised.'"
I hope not, isn't that game on the BBC?

| I thought France did very well bar the first 20 minutes of the second half. Losing Casty was unfortunate and if Ferriol and Baile are banned they will take a true hammering from NZ and Aus, which is unfortunate. Their kicking game was superb and Ferriol, Elima and Bentley were superb.
I thought the referee was incredibly harsh on France. He didn't let a thing go for them, yet he was willing to give England the benefit of the doubt several times.
For England I thought Roby, Peacock, Morley and Ellis were the standouts. I don't see why we need Roby from the bench, play him from the start, he can do the 80 minutes and England were a better team with him on the field. I thought Myler was the better of the half backs, not quite proving the doubters wrong but certainly more involved than McGuire. The backs were totally anonymous as expected but didn't let anyone down defensively.
