| Quote: Psychedelic Casual "International rugby league has been rejuvenated due to Australia not being able to produce enough players to fill a league therefore have had to draft in Pacific Islanders and Englishmen to make up the numbers but who have now become stars of the game so have made International RL more competitive than previously'"
A whole 5 Englishmen, And stars!!!!
As for being "drafted"
Half of these Islanders are actually Australian or New Zealanders, some even come from second & third generation Australian families
Unfortunately, i doubt you'll be seeing any of your englishmen again, they all seem rather settled & will more than likely live out their lives in an improved environment, a first world country
see what sport can do for you? it can improve your life immeasurably

ok, fair enough
It really would be more convenient if you just left us all to our overrated SOO & NRL & you can go on your merry way & play France & Tonga as a way of competition, that would suit me, it'd be interesting to see how you go

| Wow, just wow !!
all those saying that last play 'should' have gone upstairs, why should it? the on field officials will only refer something if they aren't sure, clearly all the on field officials were happy with the decision, why refer it upstairs just for controversy's sake if they're happy??
I couldn't give a fig whether it could/would/should have been or not England are in the World Cup final and i am delighted !!!!
No one would care if we were 'hard done by'.
Get in the wall of white !!!

Why in gods name would anyone watch that crap? its cricket season, i was at the pub having a little punt on the gee gees & lo & behold, the RL wasn't even on, everyone was watching the cricket, to tell you the truth son, there is very, very little interest in this farce
I just can't wait for it to end so there is no threat of injury & i can look forward to next season when the real footy starts'"

| Don't get the argument over the decision at the end. Pulls at the arm, ball carriers responsibility and loose carry everyday of the week.

England prop Chris Hill "The atmosphere was insane. Sometimes you couldn't hear the person stood next to you."'"
...you were saying?
Epic game and so glad I went up in the end.......there are about 60,000 Tongans in Auckland and half of them were at Mt Smart. The singing in the second half was amazing....let's hope that the Pacific Cup happens with the PI's and Kiwis playing more regularly.

The NRL is robotic and the SOO is more one sided than the World Cup IMO of course

I don’t think they were intimidated, I think they enjoyed it.

| Just watched it back including the JM strip and Bennetts thoughts after. Firstly, I think it's a loose carry from fifita. The strip on JM goes backwards towards the Tongan line so fine to play on, though Bennett alludes to this incident to back up the no try, and he's wrong. If as he says both were stripped, both went back and both were play on which would have meant play on to fifita regathering and scoring.

| For all the positives this tournament, Jerry getting the ball with a minute to go when we are in front and then losing it is criminal. Hold on to it!
