How many times (out of 10), when the South Stand shout "forward" has the opposition passed the ball forward, because they dont half shout it a lot.'"
They shout the exact same as any other set of fans....difference is at Leeds their is 15,000 voices instead of 5,000 so you’ll notice it much more. In terms of percentage of the crowd who shout forward it’s probably the same as any other club.

It depends on the relative speeds of both players.

With most Trinity fans standing behind the sticks, we only shout for the really obvious forward passes.
They're that obvious, you would expect the ref and his two assistants to spot them as well

| Quote rollin thunder="rollin thunder"Not saying you cannot be an RL fan unless you gave played the game but it helps as some peoples comments show thay have no experience of running passing and catching a ball. Even at a fast jog you gave to pass a ball to where the player is going to be not where he is when you start to pass. If a player is level you have to pass it forward our it will end up in the floor that would most likley be an easy forward pass call, the incident in question he is clearly 2 meters in from of the receiving player, and the ball is passed out of the hands backwards, it was not a forward pass end off.'"
It left his hands forward and was a blatant forward pass... End of

I'm just gong to go ahead and assume you've got some evidence to back this up, because otherwise you're coming across as either blind or stupid.

Neither blind or stupid. IMHO it left his hands forward. You are entitled to your opinion and I mine. I only put "end of" in response to a previous poster who stated the same. Neither he or myself are the oracle and we are all entitled to an opinion

| I've said it for years. When passed forwards, a GPS sensor/accelerometer in the ball should trigger automatically and the ball should explode, maiming the player who catches the ball. Punishes unskillful play and attempted cheating, whilst also making the sport more TV friendly. The ratings would soar. Imagine it, last seconds of the Cup Final, Gigot runs through, passes to Tomkins, it's a mile forward and the ball explodes taking Tomkins with it. Pure entertainment and exactly what sports fans across the globe are crying out for, sick of the rolling round and diving in Premier League football.

It's not a 'matter of opinion' issue. It's a matter of physical fact. He threw the ball backwards, it's clear as day on the video.

No it isn't. He may have attempted to throw the ball backwards but he lost full control, a fact underlined by it being a crap pass.........he may have intended it to go backwards, but it certainly didn't.
As for throwing a tennis ball, rugby ball, tin can or your aunt fanny's cat out of a moving car window, it matters little......the ball bounced 4 meters ahead of where he let go of it and he had slowed down considerably before he threw it......momentum or not, the ball went forward by a large distance that disadvantaged the defending side and therefore should have been referred upstairs as a minimum.
As I have said, London didn't lose because of this decision, but Leeds may well stay up as a consequence.
