I think that's more of a presumption, it does state he has left due to personal reasons however it says nothing about going to Australia.

The difference here is that Sammut is not contracted, he's a free agent so he wasn't 'released'. Ackers was contracted and was 'released'. He can cite whatever reason he wants to leave London..
