| ^^ Childs was too whistle happy at times and equally garbage for both sides Willzay. It was a good, tough game and both teams gave as good as they got. We both got away with a few things and both had a few things pulled back/not given that were harsh. No complaints here about Childs favouring either side, he was just plain garbage!

Oh look who's here again, one of the Wakey trolls who've killed this website
Did i say that? NO.
Isa should have been sent off for nearly killing Hitchcox - that's a fact. Him getting put on report is a shocking decision - again fact.
Nowhere did I mention anything about Cas being squeaky clean. In fact, it was a great game until Child remembered he had a whistle and decided to make the game all about him.

| I don’t mind officials making the odd mistake but missing 2 certain tries is shameful. Child and the other 5 refs should take a week or 2 break.

I just don’t understand how the first was missed by the ingoal judge. He was directly in line with us about five yards closer to the action and it was clear as day that Leuluai got it down (I actually thought he touched it down twice). I didn’t give it a seconds thought that it may not be given. The second one which Clubb had ruled out I couldn’t see from the other end but I had two Cas fans say he got it down coming away from the ground and I’ve read a few since saying it was a try.
The refs are having a tough time and it’s certainly not an easy job. The criticism they’ve been getting from fans has been poor but they’ll always face that but when ‘some’ clubs twitter feeds and the like start calling them out I find that unprofessional and uncalled for. That said there are no excuses for those two missed try’s last night. Had the game been on Sky we get the win without any shadow of a doubt. It’s a funny old game when he needed an escort off the field Child to shield him from the Cas fans abuse.

| If the game was on Sky the Clubb one gets disallowed for being short, the Leuluai one is probably given but Isa also gets sent off and nothing happens to Cook (which Wigan scored off the back of to get the Leuluai one back...).
The refs are having a tough time because they're poorly coached + wrapped in cotton wool and can't be criticised. The problem is firmly on Ganson who's in charge and Thaler who runs the training.
Also, refs get escorted off the pitch all the time so don't try and pin that one as a thing that only happens at Cas/last night.

Nearly killing Hitchcox? Who are you, Alex Ferguson?
You only come on here once in a blue moon to bash refs, if you think you can do a better job than why don't you pick up the whistle? But summat tells me you won't.

Seems some of your own fans disagree with you :
Caslad on the Wigan board.
"I have to be honest, as I've said earlier in the thread - it was a try in my opinion. Clubb got dragged back after grounding it before the officials got a view of it so all they saw was the ball grounded short of the line. From where I was stood in the Weldon Road End I had a clear view and put my head in my hands when I saw it grounded. When it was signalled short I couldn't believe it and said 'we've dodged a bullet there''

Everyone knows what they get with him tbf. I don't if clubs look at refs previous games as part of the pre match prep but I imagine it would help if they did.

It happens when they’re being abused and it’s the sensible thing to do. It usually happens though when the home fans have some just cause for feeling a little short changed with the decisions but that just can’t have been the case last night.
I’ve said myself I felt the better side on the night won the game but as I say if it’s on Sky Wigan win.

Not sure how Wigan win if its on Sky? I'm sure if we would have been down a try earlier if it had been given then our game would have changed to get back in to it earlier..... Tries change games so the game would have changed had we been down earlier.

| Add to that you would have been down to 12 with the cameras as that was a disgrace when Jy got took out in the air. Worst decision of game.

So are you saying if Cas had scored 2 more tries Wigan would have won? Or does that logic only work if it favours Cas?
