Has anyone else who cancelled Premier Sports had them take money out?
I cancelled last month, only two days before the direct debit was due (15th), so accepted that the December one was going out, but just checked banking and noticed that they’ve taken another payment this month. It’s supposed to be 10 days notice, so going to ring them up and give them a mouthful tomorrow, but was wondering if it was just me?
(I had cancelled the direct debit with the bank too).

If you cancelled your direct debit with the bank they are to blame not premier so take it up with your bank
|

Cancelled my Prem Sports subscription today. Not interested if they havent got the NRL.
Theyre obviously receiving alot of calls for cancellation because the young foreign lady I dealt with had a very well rehed script offering me the Toronto Wolfpack and Championship games for £4.99 for the next 12 months. I declined.
On another note. Anyone know if the WCC is televised by Sky on the 16th?? Read somewhere that it hadnt been announced yet.

Sky are also showing South Sydney vs Wigan friendly and Dragons vs Hull.
Who is providing the TV feed for Sky. Wouldn't guess that Channel 9 or Fox were showing the games.
Same for the Wigan vs Hull game in Australia. Are sky sending there own TV crew for that?

When I rang last month they said I was a month behind on my account, I asked them for a breakdown as I know I made the 1st payment when I subscribed so I definitely wasn't behind. Cancelled the DD at bank and followed up by email. Not heard anything since. |

So I said I signed up to watch the NRL only, they first off offered me Toronto (after last season I would rather stick pins in my eyes) I politely refused, so they said they will not renew my subscription NEXT YEAR, I was less polite not rude but I made it clear I wanted my money back. After consulting with a supervisor they said they would charge me in January but are cutting me off instantly, I was going to argue that I should be allowed use until my payment period ends but as there is nothing else of interest to me on premier I let it go.
At present my Premier player has gone already but the TV is still operational.
So in summary I am supposed to be getting around half my money back in around 28 days.'"
Just received my refund from premier £47.04 from my annual subscription . |

The double header is being televised there by Fox. Wigan v Hull will also be on Fox as default of them having Super League rights. |

| When exactly does the NRL season start? I got rid of Sky about 2 years ago and just subscribed to Premier Sports instead. I'm a bit wary of buying a streaming package. I had Premier that way before they started on Virgin and it wasn't that sparkling.
Looks like I'll have to bite the bullet on Sky Sports again, but not until I get absolute copnfirmation that the NRL is being shown. Now TV had a £25 for the month offer for Sky Sports - that seems fine when I've bought single day passes. Might give that a shot first.
We won't be getting the luxury of almost every game again. My Mrs will be delighted  |
