| Quote Vespid_Wire="Vespid_Wire"Not sure where the "Wire rely on Sandow" is coming from. We've had (and still do have) far more players out than just Sandow.
For example, our game on Friday was the first time we've played our first choice 1, 6 & 7 in their right places. Not to mention Dwyer being out for a month has put a lot on Clark's shoulders, and we've played a number of games this year without any recognised out-and-out centres.
All that said we're still second after a tough April and May with a number of first team players out.
I fancy our chances of a GF appearance.'"
Although it's not something that I have the time or inclination to check, Sandow is certainly your most influential player this season and without him, Wire look ordinary.
His vision is superb and he can pick different plays in an instant.
Obviously you have plenty of other strike players and a decent pack so, if you can have a fit squad at the end of the season, Wire will probably make the GF.

| I wouldn't mind some new faces in the GF but I've gone for Warrington v Castleford. Was impressed with Cas at the Magic Weekend both on the field and the terraces.

A brave call given Cas are currently 7 points adrift of the play offs and have lost more than they have won so far. Which of Wire/Catalans/Wigan are you predicting to drop out?

| Any of the current top four could make it. Personally I'd like to see Warrington v Catalan.

If Leeds' post-CC form of recent seasons is owt to go by then it's far from impossible for one of those to be caught by an outsider. FWIW my tip for the GF is Wigan.

| I find it hard (though not impossible) to believe that any any team from outside the current top four can make a serious challenge, however it's difficult to forecast just what order the current top four are going to finish in. Assuming they don't finish 1st and 4th or 2nd and 3rd it'll be a Wire v wigan final for me, but if we meet in the semi final then the winner to play Hull at Old Trafford.

| As a Hull fan, I've gone for Warrington and Wigan.
I'm still waiting for us to slip up... I hope I'm still waiting at 8.00pm on the night of the 8th October!

You share the same mentality I've had in seasons past. Sadly, at 8pm on the night of the GF you begin to change your attitude to "maybe.. just maybe.." and it all goes Pete Tong.

| I do wonder if Hull and Wire enter the Top 8's comfortably inside the top 4 if some of their fans will be asking for the points to be reset to zero like they were suggesting last year or won't they mind if 5th/6th place are about 6/8 points adrift?

not me, also i doubt 99% of fellow fc fans were asking for points being reset to zero
now i did see on cas tigers fans forum that some of their fans are wanting points to be reset to zero
