Quote Gotcha="Gotcha"I quoted nobody, go back and have a look. You were just being paranoid because you knew you had posted incorrectly.'"
I wrote the second reply to this thread, you wrote the third and most definitely in reply to mine, arguing against each point I wrote. It could only have been me you aimed your barb at.
Quote GotchaTomkins has not stood out in any game yet against Australia and New Zealand. Would I drop him because of it? no I wouldn't because he is a class player, just the same has Sinfield proves week in week out, season after season, when playing in a good team.'"
So two very good players at club level, in very, very good teams, can't replicate at Rep level. Peacock could, that is my point for Sinfield and I have no problem with your choice of Tomkins but he does offer us something very different to everyone else on his day, an X factor.
Quote GotchaNothing selective, the exiles game means jack poop, and will probably be dropped. If changing captain it should be with a long term goal, and build around it.'"
The Exiles game will stay or something else will take its place. What chance on Graham being released by his club for a mid season fixture on the other side of the world? Changing long term can be a goal but sometimes continuity is more desirable in the short term.
Quote GotchaYour not right, and given nothing to even argue a bit that you are right. Tell me which coach would have got better results and put us within a better chance of winning this world cup?'"
Rather incredible that I offer an olive branch to say we see things differently and you come back and say crap like the above. I rather believe am right but I will concede that you too have a different opinion on this that will not be the same as mine. your response? "You're wrong, I am right." Grow up.
And as for coaches? I didn't even mention anything to do with who should replace McNamara. Where did that come from?
And FWIW I like the job McDermott has done at Leeds and London before that. He has something that turns faltering teams into performing teams. Sounds like just what England need.
