| Quote: Dunbar "Rewind the clock a few years and we have similar comments about Ellis and we know how that turned out. As usual, the Australian’s simultaneously overestimating themselves and underestimating the rest... it’s not a RL issue, more of a unconscious national defence at being a geographical, cultural and economic irrelevance in the world'"
This!
Graham will smash it up of that I have no doubt. Best prop forward I've ever seen (ok I'm not too old & this is also keeping Paul Gallen as part back rower )
Probably a bit of motivation from Hasler but also like with Ellis understating an English player and then will claim to have really developed him when hhe is shining week in week out!

3 pages on a non story?
Graham needs to prove himself in the NRL first before walking into the run on side of a very good pack. Tolman was awesome last year and Kas compliments him well in the front row. Also like someone else said, the game time he gets will be the same as a couple of other front rowers. You have to remember, Tolman would be a star in any team in the world. Kas and Payne are very good props too. Tolman and Graham are very similar in style so I can see why he is not playing both at once.
Trust Des! I think he know's what he is doing
Oh, and Tolman is doubtful anyway on Saturday so if he doesn't make it Graham will start.

Personally I'd say Graham best prop world. However would Gallen make that his permanent posistion that could change.

Gallen is a blown up back rower but has not got the ball skills. very good player workmanlike and tough. but no where near the best out & Out prop. I'l go with Graham on this best in world at moment. the trend of playing prop type players at 13 in becoming more populer and the ball player is on its way out. sides tend to use full back as the extra pivot now.

Ironically you may notice that there is actually a shift the other way in the NRL with a few more clubs making ball handling back rowers play at prop.

they signed him because of his quality, and Hasler is doing the right thing before his 1st game, asking him the question in the media...."are you good enough James?"
James will prove this week in week out, i dont know what the odds are for him to win Dogs player of season, but i might have a look.'"
Are you his mum ?

| Brassed off in the build up to today's match "Word has it that Danny Buderus has worked off all those Yorkshire puddings".

They need some excuse for why a player who in their view would of retired to SL has now returned to be a starter in a Wayne Bennett side

| Exceptional debut. Will only get better with ball in hand when barba reacts off the back if his step and pass.
If I were a betting man id have tenner on him being named player of the year at the bulldogs.

| Knew he was going to make it here.
The fact that he statistically dominate the Australian Test pack has him in good stead.

Plays a different role in their respective team. Georgie is more of an impact player used in short stints. Jammer is a player that can play long minutes therefore saving a potential interchange

| Pure machine today!
He came on in the 14th minute and never went off. 16 hit ups, 112 metres and 43 tackles. A deserved man of the match and he got us back In the game with an pass on the line to put Payne through who set up Barba.
We looked very flat with the ball before he came on too and Penrith were dominating us. After Graham came on he brought more energy and we came from 12-0 down to win 22-14.
