What immortal hand or eye, Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?:38546.gif

Decent game at the KC, good to see Rovers first team getting a full 80 under their belts before a rest next week.
Pack looked good, new signings Paea, Mika and McDonnell probably Rovers' stand-outs.

Brad Fitler "If the ref's decision decides your game. You haven't done enough prior." Referees are like women, they make snap decisions and never reverse them. Littlerich wrote Widnes will be glad to get away from Leigh. They've been regularly pumped, roasted and left in the alley-way by the lobbygobblers. Talk about being bitched - what a torrid time they've had. They'll be looking for some A&E rest time for the next three years at least.:simpsons/PDT13.gif

Paea was best forward on the pitch, Mika didn't do much imo and McDonnell bottled it for the Chris Greens try but showed good pace.

As I said on Hull's board, Mika didn't know his hbs well enough yet to run brilliant lines but looked dangerous with ball in hand.
Don't know which try you mean but I didn't see him bottle anything, looked solid under the bomb and a constant threat in Hull's 30.

Dewsbury 16-42 Bradford (0-30 HT)

I was very impressed with the Bulls in the 1st half. Diskin looked very sharp early on to say it's his first match in a long time and looked dangerous every time he picked the ball up out of Dummy half.

My man of the match was Luke Gale though. This guy controlled everything. He asked questions every time he took the line on and scored a couple of nice tries, not to mention setting up a few others. That creativity is something Bradford havent had for a few years and it can only be a positive for the Bulls.

Joseph is someone who has really impressed me in the 2 pre season games so far too. He puts his body on the line every time he tries something, whether it by with ball in hand or making a tackle. I was pleased for him to get over the line today as the effort he put in definitely warranted it.

It was good to see the Bulls hustle in defence too. I know it was only Dewsbury (and I mean that in the most respectful way I can) but when they moved the ball latterally across the field they looked dangerous and they will cause a few teams a lot of problems this year.

Bradford were very professional today though and a few players put their hands up big time for a spot against Catalan

Thought about it and tbh it might not of been McDonnell, may of been Hall which wouldn't be a surprise.
Anyhow, Seymour puts a bomb up and the Rovers player runs towards it been bottles catching it and Chris Green gathers it and scores under the sticks.
Like I said might not of been McDonnell but it was one of the two.

Ahhhh, yeah that was Hally, tbf he had a good game other than that, playing a large part of the game at stand off and I was pleased to see it didn't knock his confidence like it would have done in the past. He has come on tremendously since June last year.

Ahh my mistake then thought it was your fullback as he seemed to be in that position at the time.
Yeah Hall had a good game with ball in hand, did some good effective things that caused us problems.
I'm obviously gutted we got beat especially when it's against Rovers, but I have to keep reminding myself that it was our first game in almost 5 months and you was playing your third which would of helped. No doubt the missed tackles are down to fatigue. But plenty of things to be happy with, although Horneys game doesn't seemed to of changed at all. But then again I'm not a fan of his and see him as a weak link with in the team.

HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God:

I wonder how many of the players out there have played 3 times for Rovers this year. Clinton, Carlisle and thats about it???

Horne hasn't been effective for years, especially after the diabetes business and the injury before that.
He's pretty much non-existant in games. I don't think things are as bad as some Hull fans are making out, hope I'm wrong though! icon_wink.gif

Hopefully it's due to been under the Agar regime, but unfortunately I don't think it is.
Years ago I always said he was the best defensive 6 in the league and would tackle all game but even now his defence is suspect. Never supports anymore and his efforts with ball in hand. Well the less said the better. I'm sick of seeing him do his obvious 'drop off' at such a slow pace.

Sad thing is I expect him to finish his career with Hull. Has been a great servant for Hull and was once a great player but sadly after his illness' it's time for Hull to find a replacement.

IMO Hull would be better using Ellis (once he's shed a few pounds) this season. He's obviously lined up as Hull's future at HB so may as well get some SL game time under his rather large belt icon_wink.gif
