| Quote Gronk!="Gronk!"A few years ago Morley or Peacock would have put the little thug on his backside without hesitation..where has that aggression gone?'"
Keep thinking of Brian McTigue with the way James Graham played tonight but just a bit about aggression. The Aussies in a game back in the 1960's had a proper idiot player, something like Les Boyd, thought he was tough but he was just stupid. McTigue was a trained professional boxer, best prop of all time and loved playing Rugby. Said idiot was constantly hitting on McTigue until eventually he got fed up of it and knocked the fool out with one punch. McTigues comment after the game was that he felt ashamed about what he'd done, because the bloke he hit just didn't know any better, much the same thing as the kiwi hooker tonight. Well done to Morley and Peacock, they are bigger men than that.

| That said, a few shoulder charging knock outs of old from Morley next weekend please, followed by a brawl or two from Peacock.
Or just a win

| Luke is a cracking player but was more intent on cheap shots than concentrating on winning the game
He's a liability

| Lost all respect I had for NZ last night. Nothing but thugs looking to start a fight. The likes of Luke (should be banned for life), Jeremy Smith, Adam Blair, Manu, Hargreaves... I just kept thinking to myself "Look at the scoreboard you mugs". We won, your off home on your long trip knowing you could only beat a semi-professional Welsh team.
And as for Benji Marshall, drop the tough guy act - we know your softer than a soggy loaf so dont pretend your a big man.

I lost all respect fror NZ at the beginning of the tournament as all they have looked like they wanted to do was slow the game down instead of playing.
IMHO i'd say that this NZ team is the dirtiest team i have ever seen.

| As alot of people have mentioned, this was a very dirty NZ team, with some who only had the intent to injure English players. There were a few incidents that could and should have resulted in at least a yellow card. The amount of messing around at the ruck, cheap shots in tackle and thats before we get to the hit on Tomkins and Lukes cheap effort on Chase. The worst thing about those two was the obvious intent. It seemed to me that some NZ where only interested in a fight tonight.

| What always gets me in incidences like this is the actions of the officials. The ref clearly told Luke (can't remember in the Smith one) what he had done and told him he had clearly set out to injure the player in question. If it's that 'clear' why simply just put it on report?
It's an old one (and slightly academic due to us winning) but what benefit will having the incident put on report be to England - the team who was sinned against?
If Chase had gone off injured, we would have been without a first choice player but NZ would still have their full complement.

Thats what I hate most about the on report. Whats more frustrating is you see players get binned or sent off for less than those two incidents.

| N.Z really let them selves down last night in the way they played.
Thought Kearney gave an honest account of the game, saying England out played them and the Kiwis discipline was very poor.

It's a cop out mate. Refs in the past like Thompson, Holdsworth & relatively lately Smith (Russell) would've had the cojones to wave the red for cheapshots like those.
They would have let the teams have a bit of biff but wouldn't stand for cowardly acts like we saw last night.
