He does actually. Who could say for sure, that Fax wouldn't have won the GF. All you need to do is coast along in the league all season, have a really easy run in to Wembley and make sure your squad is at full strength for the play offs. Then it's finalist in the CC and winners at OT. Hey presto.

I wished some of them would make a bit more effort. Grand Finals have become a bit like those family weddings and funerals where you only see the same people once a year......

Leeds made it look easy, from 5th no less. But theres a reason no ones done it before.

Leeds have won more grand finals than any other team in super league history. It was just the way the season panned out, they didn't plan on getting thrashed by their rivals and languising in mid table. But it's a measure of their character, ability and determination that they came back from that to overcome their rivals better placed and claim the title.

I'd suggest few other teams could have done that, and that's why leeds are more than worthy champions.

Can't argue with the way Leeds went in the play off's but they did appear at times to be short changing their fans, with some woeful performances during the season.

Presumably much like Warrington and Wigan short changed their fans with some woeful performances in the playoffs?

it probably won't happen for a very long time though,unless the rhinos finish 6th,7th or 8th

we were a shambles at times, not just a team or individuals having a poor game but an absolute shambles. no shape, no pattern of play, no structure.
the fact we won is testament to the charachter of the players and, if i'm being honest, the turnaround amazed me
