Do you really think fans are going to wait all the way until 2012? If we don't buy season tickets, the club will die. It's one of those lose-lose situations where we don't want to hurt the club, but supporting them is giving the club a reason not to make changes.
I have a season pass, but I aren't going anymore until he's sacked. I think others are doing the same. Crowds are already down. The atmosphere is mundane.
If the board wait until 2012, I fear the worst for this club. |

It's a shame really.

From the vibes I am getting a lot of people in Hull are starting to take the approach of I CBA with you anymore. Three seasons ago they was a group of about 15 of us who used to go home and away together, last night they was just three of us left. By 60 minutes (with the game at 6-6) they was none. They was people leaving the ground with the game tied it was that dull and painful to watch.
The longer Agar is in charge the more people thinking like this will grow.
I don't think stuff is too rosy on the East Side of Hull either.
Its safe to say this years Hull derby at the KC will be the lowest attendance for one yet. |

Can't believe you don't understand the context of this statement.
OK, so it's not the same as beating Wigan at Wembley in the early 60's.
Neither was beating Fev at McAlpine to gain promotion to Super League. Neither was beating Saints at Oakwell. Neither was beating Hull at KC in the 2004 playoffs.
Games are "great" in the era and context of the period of the day. With the side we currently have and our recent history off the field this victory was just as awe inspiring as many previous.

The Australians do rugby league better than we do and we should try to copy their methods and learn from them. I think the RFL should set up a scheme where any young British coaches/retiring players who have the potential to be a head coach are sent to an NRL club for experience, paid for by the RFL.
Given their superb facilities, strong financial setup and strong youth production line, Hull should be perennial challengers at the top. After briefly threatening to become a top club with a couple of Cup Final appearances and a Grand Final, they have fallen well below their potential in recent seasons.
Give Maguire or Brown that squad and they would be in the top 2/3.'"
It's down to players , if they don't do their job then sack them, it happens in every other walk of life!!!.
Perhaps then they will realise you have to WORK to get results and not be drooping bottom lip prima donnas!!! |
