Not bad is it? Theres also Pitts, Amor & Coady as backups to that 17 too. At the moment that, and the Bailey TMFMISL thing, are the only things the cheer me up this season!
Although, Watkins remains to be seen as to how he'll do week in week out when Senior finally packs in. He could be amazing or he could disappear without trace, however Jones-Bishop and McShane look fairly steady and promising so far.

What about Gareth Thomas?

Yes, several times. Both did well early in the season but have dropped off which is why they wouldn't be in the 17. Coady, being still very new to RL, is probably understandable but the worry is Amor's recent performances. However they're both young and were seen as "a project" when signed. Plus both have provided useful backup for the couple of appearances theyve had this year.
Theres no reason to think they won't improve next year with another season of the benefits of Dual Registration under their belts.
There's also Ian Kirke to add plus Tom Bush, Jamal Chisholm and Stevie Ward who aren't a million miles away from the first team either.

Looks even better when you add in Ainscough, Walker and Hargreaves for next season.

[quote="Saddened":15kig0eg]Pat Richards is poop. A typical, average, run of the mill NRL outside back. Nothing special at all. Like Barrett he is a myth. He is solid enough, he can catch, he can kick goals.[/quote:15kig0eg]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_7958.jpg |

Not too bad for a team that some obsessive posters claim to be full of overseas players. 12 straight from the Wigan Academy....

I've seen Coady many times this season at Featherstone, he had a good game in Toulouse and that's it, just an average Championship centre, I rate Jessie Joe Parker higher than Coady, who signed for Wakefield mid-season.
Speaking to Coady, he is a good guy and an honest, enthusiastic player. He hated the dual registration system and I think it has been a wasted year in his development, but he is the player to replace Keith Senior, a massive task and something I just cannot seeing him doing.
Good luck too him, with good coaching around him you never know.

NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_9857.jpg |

| OTT but in NRL there are 90 non Australian eligible players playing for Australian teams. Doesn't seem to do the Kangaroos too much harm!

We need our Barthau and Guash to improve, other than that I reckon that team is better than the shower of e we fielded week in week out.
