don't get me wrong i love GB,grew up on it but its dead until the celtic nations develop enough to supply players towards a "proper" Great britain team which is'nt likely to happen for many,many years

With the exception of the delightfully named 'Wayne Kerr' (a name that if I tried to register it on here would probably get me banned) most of the Ireland team were born in Yorkshire, Lancashire or that dead set Guinness drinking, potato eating Irish legend Pat Richards.... born in that quaint little Dublin suburb....West Sydney

There are some miserable beggars on here, its the only international on home soil this year, yet most of you S/L fans on here are whinging because "we cant get to Leigh, our players are playing twice," etc etc...

These are your players from your clubs playing for our country.

Well, personally I feel that, with the current crop of players, International RL from an English stand point is a none starter. There's more important things that need attention in the game at the moment. Mainly the development of at least 30 players who are capable of going for 80 minutes against the Aus/NZ teams. Without that, what's that point? To be consistantly the 3rd best team in the world?
