Really? I look at that dump all day at work and the rec must be a right dive if its worse than that. I think RU clubs have brought in ground standards, a sale fan was telling me they need 16000 capacity, which must be bull as leigh inly holds 12700
|

The Rec is basically made up of temporary stands and has been for several years. Nowt wrong with Edgeley Park either, would be a crackin' ground if there was a roof at the scoreboard end. |

The Sale/Altrincham/Wilmslow Union fans won't travel to Leigh no more than Warrington when that was mooted some years ago.
Sale Union wasn't financially viable at Heywood Rd., it's not financially viable at Edgeley Park.
Does anyone think the penny will drop one day with this lot?

yes edgely park is a dump i went there in 04 i think it was for a plymouth albion sale cup game and the pitch was horiffic then. |
