In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

How many sin binnings has there been this season so far? I'm only aware of (or remember at least) two, one being Smith vs Parra last night, the other being Milne vs Parra in Round 3. Both were probably the two worst binnings i've ever seen. Completely unjustified, disgusting.

Watched the Storm-Warriors game and Finch played okay, i think Cronk needs to step back on some of the plays and let Finch take control because there too predictable at the minute. I know they will be working on it and it was only Finch's first game but because they haven't had an experienced 6 Cronk is trying to do everything on his own.
Will be a good signing for the Storm though i think.

Made their attack way to predictable and easy to counter...Also one thing Finch can do like no other is kick field goals but cronk continuely received the ball and missed with 3 or 4 woeful attempts.. |

Cronk had 3 poor attempts at a drop-goal and a couple of them from 40+ metres out. How did Stacey Jones miss the one where he hit the post ? even i would of kicked that. |
